8-Ball is Jeff Hagees, a simple engineer who ran up huge gambling debts by playing pool. Using his engineering knowledge, Jeff created a pool cue that magnified thrust, allowing him to strike objects and turn them into dangerous projectiles. Creating an appropriate costume, Jeff became 8-Ball, the billiards-themed super-villain. Too bad the first super-hero he fought was Sleepwalker, marking him for life as a low-level villain. But at least he's got a cool look.

8-Ball is made from a repainted Minimate. His pool ball head is made from Magic Sculpt, while his pool cue is made from a modified and carefully-painted toothpick.
