Marvel Comics likes to publish limited edition variant covers for their comics. People like to collect them, and Marvel like to sell comics, so it's a win-win kinda deal. Last year Marvel decided to create variant vampire covers, showing their characters as vampires. Some were good, some were forgettable, but the cover for the Hulk really struck me. I really love the idea of the Hulk as the classic Universal Studios Dracula. So I decided it had to become a Minimate.

The Recipe

Vampire Red Hulk is made from a repainted "bulked-up" Hulk Minimate. His nifty suit jacket, cuffs, and ragged cape with over-the-top collar are all sculpted by me from Magic Sculpt. His face is from a water-transfer decal, and his hairpiece is from a Dracula Minimate.
