The Mist

The Mist started as a scientist who created a process to turn living flesh into a gaseous state. Using his device on himself, the man became the cloud-like Mist, and started a crime wave across America. His crime wave would bring him to Opal City, home of the Golden Age Starman. Starman stopped the Mist's crime, and the two would become arch-enemies.

The Mist and the Golden Age Starman would continue to fight for decades. With his health and mind failing, the Mist used his son and daughter to try and destroy Starman and his family one final time. The Mist failed, and instead inspired Starman's son, Jack, to become the new Starman.

The Mist would try one final attempt for revenge, but ended up dying in the explosion he planned for Opal City.

The Recipe

The Mist is made from the upper half of a repainted Minimate. His cloud-like lower half is made from a Minimate torso piece and Sculpey. His jacket is a New X-Men Wolverine jacket with Magic Sculpt additions. Mist's hair is made from Sculpey, and his face is from a water-transfer decal.
