Brain Drain is not just an "Evil-Brain-In-A-Jar" - he's a "Former-Nazi-Scientist's-Evil-Brain-In-A-Jar".

Brain Drain's human body was nearly destroyed by a crashing alien spaceship. The aliens saved his brain and eyes and placed them on a robot body while boosting his intelligence. The aliens hoped that Brain Drain would be grateful and help repair their ship. Instead he used his new powers to hypnotize the aliens and use them as weapons for the Nazis. The plan failed, and Brain Drain got his robot butt kicked by Captain America and the Invaders.

Usually when I make a custom Minimate, I'm familiar with the character. But I know nothing about Brain Drain - I made him because he makes a cool-looking Minimate.

The Recipe

Brain Drain is made from a repainted Minimate, with the neck post removed by a Dremel. His brain and eyes are made from Magic Sculpt and Sculpey, then glued to the smooth top of the Minimate chest. A squeeze bulb from a disposable pipette makes his "brain dome", and fits snugly in his shoulder pads made from Magic Sculpt. Brain Drain's chest is a water-transfer decal, and his gloves are from a Mr. Fantastic Minimate.
