Terrance Ward is the son of an ordinary woman and the demon Nightmare, giving him a mystic nature. Able to read people's minds, Trauma can then physically transform into their greatest fears. While originally trained by the government's Initiative program to be a fighter, Trauma instead chose to become a counselor, using his powers to help people deal with their problems.

Trauma is made from a Playboy Tony Stark Minimate. I repainted his shirt a brighter red and gave his bigger shirt cuffs. His hair is made of Sculpey and his face is a digital printout.
