College professor Ray Palmer discovered a fragment of a white dwarf star. Using the rare material in his experiments, Ray was able to create a size-reduction device for himself and became the super hero known as the Atom! The Atom can control his weight and density with ease, and shrink to sub-atomic size.

The Atom is a repainted Minimate. His helmet came from a Bullseye Minimate. His costume details are made from water-transfer decals.
