Thomas "Black Tom" Cassidy was born a mutant and the cousin of the X-Man Banshee. But while Banshee was a good man, Black Tom turned to crime and villainy. While serving time in prison, Black Tom would make friends with the Juggernaut, and the two would work as a duo for many years, battling Banshee and his allies in the X-Men on many occasions.

Black Tom Cassidy is made from a repainted Minimate. He wears a Star Sapphire collar, and his hair made from Sculpey. His face and costume details are made from digital printouts. Black Tom's shillelagh, the wooden Irish fighting club that he uses to fire his mutant energy blasts, is made from Magic Sculpt.
