The original Negative Man was happy to be free of the radioactive energy being that had lived within him for years. But it came back for him, and fused the Negative Man with his doctor, Eleanor Poole, to form a single radioactive being that called itself Rebis. Looking for the meaning of its existence, Rebis would join the Vertigo-era Doom Patrol.

Rebis' face is a digital printout. His jacket is made from a digital printout on cardstock. The negative energy being was also made on a computer and printed on stiff paper.
