Roy Bivolo was a talented painter as a child, but was color-blind. His optometrist father tried to find a cure his son, but instead developed a set of goggles with color-based energy powers. When Roy discovered the true power of the goggles, he decided to use them to steal great works of art for revenge against a society that didn't appreciate his art.

Calling himself the Rainbow Raider, Roy fought and lost to the Flash several times. The Rainbow Raider was eventually killed, impaled on his own counterfeit painting.

The Rainbow Raider is made from a repainted Minimate. His mask comes from a modified Daredevil mask, and his costume details are from digital printouts.
