Controversial reporter Jack Ryder was only trying to help a kidnapped Russian professor. Putting on an outrageous costume of yellow make-up, a green wig and a red rug cape, Jack snuck into the kidnapper's costume party when he was caught and nearly killed. To save his life, the Russian professor gave Jack his two greatest inventions - a serum that promoted instant healing, and a molecular rearranger that allowed Jack to switch from his costumed appearance instantly.

Now gifted with superhuman powers, Jack became the Creeper, a frightening and unpredictable vigilante with a bizzare personality to match his appearance. He may insult your haircut, or he may punch your lights out.
