Superboy (90s)
During the 1990's, one of the biggest events in comics was the Death of Superman, where the killed Superman and then introduced four new characters to take the role of Superman. One of those characters was Superboy, a clone created by a government agency as a replacement for Superman. But Superboy rebelled and struck out on his own, living up to Superman's example with a whole lot of attitude.
