Starman (Golden Age)

Ted Knight was a genius inventor who developed a way to harness cosmic energy from the stars. Encouraged by his cousin to make a difference, Ted created the Cosmic Rod and fought crime in Opal City as Starman. He served as a member of the Justice Society of America and the All-Star Squadron.

In the late 1940's, Ted suffered a nervous breakdown from the murder of his finance and his guilt from helping create the atomic bomb. He would stay in semi-retirement after he recovered, defending Opal when necessary while getting married and having two sons.

The Recipe

The Golden Age Starman is made from a repainted Minimate. His headfin and earpieces are made from Magic Sculpt, while his face and costume details are digital printouts. His cape is a Sentry cape with Magic Sculpt added details. Starman's cosmic rod is created from a Daredevil baton with Magic Sculpt details. His holster is made from a modified Bullseye belt with holster made from Magic Sculpt.
